A general web search for "mortgage calculator" yields results of varying quality. Many are tied to mortgage brokers; at a minimum most are littered with advertisements. Some ask you to input personal information! Some are server-side scripted, meaning they are likely collecting any and all data they can... the list of grievances is endless.
